Bio: Jeff Kolakowski, has almost two decades of experience in government relations, advocacy, policy development, and public affairs and is currently the CEO for the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) - He is responsible for leading the advocacy efforts of the association in a broad array of policies areas including land use, redevelopment, economic development, utility infrastructure, environmental matters, and building codes and standards.
Bio: Penny Hazer, founder & CEO of Merit Alliance, has more than 30 years working with registered apprenticeships, worked as a carpenter in the light commercial/residential industry and holds a Master’s degree in education.
Bio: Nick Sarinelli is a senior partner with Nisivoccia LLP and has been with the firm his entire career of more than 30 years. Focusing on small to medium sized businesses, he is committed to delivering tax and financial consulting services that meet each client’s unique objectives. Nick has enjoyed being a Metro member for several years and was proud to be recognized as the 2018 Associate of the Year. Nick has also been recognized for his community service efforts and has been named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Foundation.
Bio: Thomas J. Trautner Jr. of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC
is an experienced real estate development lawyer. He helps clients navigate the entitlements process through his knowledge of redevelopment, eminent domain and affordable housing. Tom finds innovative approaches to getting projects approved and built while managing costs. Tom graduated from Rutgers Law School and Rider University.
