I left behind a pharmaceutical career in 2005 to pursue a horse boarding business and raise my family in a rural environment. In 2008, the recession took its toll on our business, bringing it to a standstill. With the help of my children, we took to the side of the road with 15 apple pies, a picnic table, and some painted signs we made saying “Turn Back for Pie.” We sold out of pies in the first hour. I hopped in the car with the kids and went to the local orchard to pick as much fruit as possible. We sold out of pies every weekend. An influx of pie customers slowing down traffic led us to get kicked off the road in front of our farm. That did not stop us or our customers, who smelled their way right to the doorstep of our house. With a list of pie "regulars,” we managed to bake and deliver over 250 pies that Thanksgiving. We took the leap of faith, moved our picnic table into an empty store, and purchased an oven with our Thanksgiving profits. It has not all been “easy as pie,” but sixteen years later, we still follow my grandmother’s baking techniques and philosophy for each pie and each flavor. We source the best ingredients we can find. We source from local producers when possible and grow what we can on our farm. Each pie has a story of its creation from start to finish. Turn Back For Pie!
 
Our baking facility is currently in Warwick, NY. We have four retail stores in Orange, Westchester, and Dutchess Counties, NY. We sell our pies on QVC Shopping Network and Fresh Direct’s online grocery.
