NEW THIS YEAR - GOLF CLINIC

Can't make it to the entire golf outing but still want to be involved? Try the Metro Golf Clinic - new this year! This clinic will take place on the same day as our 6th Annual Metro Golf Cup but is only a two hour clinic as opposed to a full day of golfing.

 

Why you might ask? Though most people enjoy spending the day drinking on a golf course hitting a round of 18-holes - it is a skill and does take time. Some might not have the time or perhaps golf is not their forte and would rather be playing basketball or poker. Either way - here is a way to sharpen up on your game, have a fun time and participate in the festivities in a different way.

 

Don't let FOMO (fear of missing out) get you and instead sign up for the clinic.

 

You will get golf tips and personal instruction by a PGA Professional in a variety of skills, putting, short game and time on the range. With the clinic you will move around in a smaller group through various stations to sharpen up your game.

 

Then you can join the rest of the players afterwards for cocktails and dinner.

Each year, NAHB Professional Women in Building Council sets aside a week in September to celebrate women as an important component of the residential/commercial construction/remodeling industry. Achievements of women that represent all facets of the industry are showcased, as is the work being done to promote, train, advance and add more women in the field. Join Metro?s PWB Council at their September meeting to celebrate this event.  We will have a panel of women from various areas of our industry to share their challenges, successes, give advice and answer questions.
